About Me

Skill Level:
Semi-Pro
Instruments:
electric bass
Genres:
future jazz, progressive rock, funk rock

My name is Daniel. 23yr. old & a projectionist at Hollywood Blvd. Cinema. Enjoy my job! I have been looking for a band since I moved from Indianapolis to woodridge, il. My goal is to communicate w/ others musically & to connect on a personal level as well. I LOVE TO PLAY! INVITE ME IN YOUR PROJECT/SESSION! Naturally involved w/ producing the Funk, 12-bar blues, & following respectfully. I'm willing to follow. If your here listening, please comment & voice what you think.

Working With Others

How I Work:

I spend my free time practicing & looking for musicians. I love to create music w/ others, it's kinda boring here by myself. I'm here for goofy fun & strange sounds as well as serious auditions & collaberations. Contact me, I don't want your money-

Experience:

Picked up the 4string in 2001. Took lessons to get started & now I'm here searching for anyone willing to record. I usually like to stickout when I play, but I also know & hear when to hold the groove-

Equipment:
Yup! I record w/ Boss BR-1180CD so I can't really edit, cut, or move another's track. It takes more time with the Boss, but I plan to upgrade to a decend usb interface & use the computer-

Thank you, Daniel! Yeah, I definitely want to get involved with some Indaba sessions in the near future and am definitely interested if you or anybody you know would like some rockin' mixes! Thanks again for your compliments on the Mariah remix - voting begins on Friday, so if you get a chance, I'd love it if you could rally support for my mix. Thanks again dude! Hopefully we'll get to work together sometime soon!

So for that session I was thinking along the lines of Rage against the Machine type bass line.

Hi, I'm new to Indaba. You said on the forums that you wanted to do collaborations. Well I'd like to do something, if you want to start a session. Not sure exactly what kind of sound you want to add to your bass and drums, but I'm sure I could come up with some ideas if you did want to have a little session. Stu

There's some great playing here. I'm a big fan of "A Tip From Cocker". You shouldn't have any problems finding people to play with around here with grooves like that.
