Playing saxophone professionally for over 30 years. Some career highlights include live performances with Dizzy Gillespie (1984), Bernard Allison (1988), Yardbirds drummer Jim McCarty (1989), Jim Schwall (1989), The Temptations (1998, 1999 and 2006), Martha Reeves & The Vandellas (1998), The Marvellettes (1998), Alex Chilton & The Box Tops (1997 and 1998), Louie Bellson (in big bands and small groups from 1994 to 2008), Buddy DeFranco (1995), Clark Terry (1995), Chuck Loeb (2004), Paul Asaro (2006), Randy Napoleon (2007), and Garrett Morris of "Saturday Night Live" (2000). I was a member of the klez-punk quartet The Kabalas from 1994 through 1999. That group released three CDs on the independent Dionysus label. Currently working as a freelance saxophonist in the Iowa/Illinois Quad City area.

How I Work:

I'm a self-employed musician with a flexible schedule and my own basic recording gear. I'll do my best to adapt to your requirements. I maintain working relationships with professional recording engineers in my vicinity for the benefit of anyone requiring a higher quality digital recording than I can provide with my own equipment.

Experience:

36 years playing experience, over 30 years of professional studio and stage experience.

Recording gear: Boss BR-1600 Workstation (16 bit, 44.1 kHz), Audio Technica and Rode microphones, AcidPro 7, Sound Forge 9.

Wind Instruments: 1927 Martin Handcraft soprano sax, 1925 Martin Handcraft alto sax, 1999 Yanagisawa Bronze 992 tenor sax, Linton bass clarinet.
