I love creativity and passion when it comes to music. I use Reason and a slew of other programs for production and recording needs. I was brought up playing gospel songs on piano, learned bass when I was a little older, can kind of half ass sing. K THNX! is my brainchild, being 95% me, a little touch of a few friends here and there.

Working With Others

How I Work:

I honestly just want to meet some people to help me finish some of my tunes. I live in a medium sized town in Alabama. Not a utopia for the kind of music I'm into but you'd be suprized, Alabama knows more diverse music than you'd think. I GIVE all of my songs away. Honestly it's more important to me for you to hear it than it is for me to make some petty cash.

Experience:

I've been producing songs since I was around 12 years old. Pretty fluent with a couple instruments but I find myself best at being a producer and a bassist. My view of music is kinda abstract.

Equipment:

I'm not going to get super techy with this but I have a couple of basses, a guitar, odles of software, electronic piano, synthesizer drum machine, turntables, harmonicas, recording stuff and all that jazz, and enough effect pedals to shake a stick at.

Man! I didn't get to go! I completely forgot that my wife had an art show that same night. I really wanted to go. Maybe I will get to catch them next time they come through here.

Unfortunately I don't have AIM. But my email is TommyMoran@gmail.com, and if you send those tracks I'll definitely take a look at them. I like your style a lot too, really unique.

When is STGM going to be in Bham? And is it going to be at the Bottletree? I would love to see them. I missed them when they came through Mobile. We should definitely do something with Reason, that is primarily what I use for composing. Lately that has been all that I use actually. As for singers, good luck man. Unless you want death metal vocals or something like that, you really won't find much else around here. Well, that may not be entirely true, but that is all I ever see or hear of. It's sad. I'm not good at lyrics, so I really don't even attempt vocals. I sang in a band in High School, but have only done back up vocals since then. If you are looking for someone somewhat locally, try checking out www.mobilesucks.net . If you go to the forum and make an account you can post a want ad in the classified section. That or try Craigslist classifieds. Otherwise finding somewhere on this site might be your best alternative.

Thanks a lot man! I definitely feel likewise! I like your music a lot, it reminds me a bit of Sleepytime Gorrilla Museum, but way more accessible. If you ever want to callaborate or something, let me know! Oh yeah, have you played any live shows or anything around this area? I could have sworn I have see K THNX! on a flier or something around here in Mobile.
