Dona Nobis Pacem- Orchestral Version

About Me

Craft:
composer, web designer, musician
Instruments:
piano, keyboard
Genres:
classical, world, impressionist, ballad

Hello everyone! My piece is inspired by the traditional song "Dona Nobis Pacem" played by Yo-Yo Ma and is written with the concept of countries striving for peace, filled with bits of turmoil, yet filled with the collective of everyone's joy from their hearts. At least that's my take. It's interpretation is designed to be subjective so feel free to express your thoughts about it.

It is one of the very few orchestral submissions.

I hope you enjoy it!

Once again, thank you Indaba for providing this excellent method for musicians to come together and share and discuss their work! For me, who has never been in the spotlight before, this chance to experience what I couldn't have imagined before is truly exciting.

Details:

Thomas is a high school student who loves to improvise and compose music. He plays the piano and keyboard enjoys using them as representations of other instruments, especially the cello and the flute. He is currently applying for college.
