About Me

Craft:
dj, producer
Instruments:
synthesizer, turntables, computer (pc), drums, software
Genres:
hip house, disco house, electro, acid techno, chicago house, hip hop, synth pop

I used to run Cubase sx3, but I switched to Ableton Live 6. I still do some mastering in Cubase. I record audio and rip records in Audacity.

I use Serato ScratchLIVE at DJ gigs. Find me playing records every Friday at Dahlak, 4708 Baltimore Ave. in West Philly, and first Thursdays at Medusa Lounge at 21st and Chestnut in Philly. Bring your tracks on a flash drive and I'll probably play them.

Thanks for the Add!!!!
In fact thanks for opening my eyes to the greater potential of this site. I just became affiliated with entering the Roots Remix Contest. Looking at your page, I see there's much more you can do. I guess I just didn't have the time to explore through it much.

You have some great tracks.

Peace,

Thanks for the add.

Liking the bounce you got there on the remix, I think the increased tempo works IMO... good job.

Jaay Peso wrote on November 13, 2008:

How's it goin man. The most amazing thing about remixes is how 2 people can interpret something so different musically, and both be right about it. I liked the uptempo high energy feel you gave it.

* Djordji wrote on November 13, 2008:

Hi JJC i listen to your Roots Remix...good feeling ...good vibe...but loses a lot because of the beat Vocal sync. even if you are in higher BPM range you can create a more laidBack feeling. I'm not sure if hectic was part of your concept...because of the Lyric part "they got the nerve to run down my ass". For my taste it sounds a little to hectic. Did you use serato to get the vocals in higher bpm?

My favorite track is "Machines wanne Buck". i like this Hip House Style. Espacially in Hamburg where I'm located at there is an big Electro Scene and the vibe is not far away from yours. Your Song would be played in the Clubs.
Let's stay in touch and let see what happens. Greetz Djordji
