About Me

Skill Level:
Semi-Pro
Craft:
songwriter
Instruments:
Drums (All)
Genres:
funk (all), rock, reggae
Influences:
Zappa, Lennon, Clinton, Marley, Prince, Page, Sun Ra, Laswell, Bowie

Drummer since knee high, sounds like a slightly funkier version of a sloppy Ringo Bonham on a rasta binge. Trained. Jazz & Orchestra, but not tuned percussion. :( Reads drum charts. Lifts toilet seat and puts down when finished. :) Employees a keyboard sequencer and samples for "writing" of songs because we all know drummers are not 'proper' musicians. heh heh Loves the art of recording and song arrangement. Sings a mean off-key harmony with itself......

Oh yes - also has a fetish for dancy experimental 'weirdpop" songs. Of course I do. :D

I would also like to collaborate maybe, but my equipment is quite stone age. Basically CoolEdit 2000 on a 98. Don't laugh. It hasn't crashed for how many years? hummm...Just like my ancient Speed King...or my trusty MXR II digital delay....ect...

You can do some cool things with cheap equipment, a lot of free software out there that's real useful. I used to write music using FastTracker 2. Layered some guitar over it and MIDI here and there, and sold over a hundred CDs somehow. Weird how that can happen.

Great tracks, That's funny I was thinking Zappa right away then I saw the influence, nice to hear some great compositions.

Haha, this music is pretty cool! Very ween-esque, but original at the same time.
