Born Waynesboro, VA (USA) 1961; moved to Newark, DE during high school; attended college at Cornell University, Ithaca, NY; been in Annapolis, MD working in civil site engineering since 1985; thanks to the tanking economy, I currently have a lot more time to spend on musical pursuits; also enjoy my wife, sailboarding, kayaking, skiing, diving and snorkeling, and carting and skijoring with our three Siberian Huskies.
- How I Work:
Naught without labor, but if music becomes "work", it's not where I want to be right now. I just want to interact with other musicians and create well-crafted original tunes that evoke emotions, jog memories, convey meaning, explore possibilities, or in some other way make the players and the audience feel a little more alive.
- Experience:
Been playing along to the stereo since 7th grade (quite a few years ago). Thoroughly enjoyed junior high and high school concert and marching bands. Played in fraternity house bands "Spacial Fusion Blues and Boogie Woogie Band" and "Baganasti" during college. Played in local bar and festival band "Abraxas" in mid-90's. Miscellaneous live jams as the occasions arise. Looking to expand into electronic collaboration with a little help from my friends.
