Studied violin ,cello, and french horn for many years and played in youth orchestras. Also studied classical voice and singing for musical theatre, eventually performing a lead role in the American Repertory Theatre production of HAIR.
After moving to New York in the early 90's, had the good fortune to do promotions and management for Broadway Diva Lilias White and 4x #1 Dance Music Artist Lonnie Gordon. Both Ms. White and Ms. Gordon taught me a lot about performing and delivering emotion through song. I took voice workshop with both ladies and emerged a much stronger and more confident vocalist.
More recently worked as marketing manager for independent label D1 Music, participating in the production, release, and marketing of Top 5 Billboard Hot Dance Chart hits, as well as unreleased remixes for Lisa Stansfield, Basement Jaxx, and Wanda Houston. Learned a lot about the business of music, and how dance music is produced and promoted in particular, while working with D1.
As a vocalist, you'll find me somewhere in the triangle defined by Geoffrey Osborne, Steve Perry, and Gladys Knight - soulful, at times husky, shouty, churchy (though I don't do devotional), soaring, yet nuanced - as far as I know there's no other male vocalist in dance music working with my sound. I am a high baritone with strong falsetto. I have perfect pitch and excellent feel for song styling, melodic variation, riffs, and ad libs.
I'm in NYC area, but thanks to the interwebnets can collaborate with anyone anywhere - I especially like the dance music that's coming out of Sweden, Greece, Brasil, and UK.
I'll try to get some song and vocal demos posted here soon.

Working With Others
- How I Work:
Looking for creative, professional collaborators to bring out original material and remixes. I write hooky, commercial songs that maintain a creative twist musically or verbally. I compose and arrange in Reason, but have some experience with Fruity Loops, Cubase, Acid, and ProTools.
I need a collaborator with production, programming, and mixdown expertise as well as facilities to record good quality vocals. Also looking for great songs. When I get something great together I want to pitch to my industry contacts.
- Equipment:
I work with Reason instruments and samplers
