I love remixing vocals. I need your vocals and I'll make an entirely new track out of it and completely original to boot.

if you have a good way of slowing it that would be great, I don't have anything exquisite by way of pitch correction software. I generally use a combo of Reason for instruments and Cubase for audio editing. Send me a loop of some sort that you feel you're stuck with and i'll see if send it in a new direction, should be fun 8)
hey dude, thanks for getting back, i was talking bout the mariah mix for speed purposes. i'm always happy to try working with folks now that i feel more confident in my style, I notice that you are using reason, this is my main prog, and it cuts down on a lot of transit issues to use the rns format , sound good?

Hi!!!!! I'm just writing to you because I don't know if you have seen it but ppl are so mad regarding the voting. I don't know what is happening, I mean, it is a voting process, isn't it? There is no way of having control of it. I think some remixes that are like in the 800th place should be on top 10. I was surprised with my mix, I told ya, but again, people should not behave like that once is a voting process. Toby, I am using Ejay Dance 7 to build the background and Audacity (which is very amateur!!) to put it all together. I appreciate your advice and I'd like to do that...but I guess I can't chance the pitch using Audacity. Do you know any software I can download in order to fiz that problem..I mean, in order to change the pitch of the song? A software that enables me to change the pitch of the song...do you know? Waiting for your remixes!!!! You gotta real chances (and my vote, for sure!) on August 29 !

Both of them are really nice. I really like the dance one, it has got a positive feeling, but I gotta tell you the 'CHILL MARIAH' is great as well!! That's just it, I don't use hardware, only software. Most people don't go for it when I tell them my program of choice. I did all that you've heard with fl studio 7.

alright then mate, ive sent u a private message. I've been laying off the remixing/production over the last few weeks. Been focusing more on my actual live performance and my DJ sets....but im RE-MOTIVATED!
I highly recommend leaving it for a bit. I'm gonna do the same. I am so out of ideas for this remix, but we still have over 1 month to the deadline. Actually, thinking about that, by then there's probably a gazillion remixes, so the chances of winning are near 0. :-(
Checking out new mix...... piano is lovely by itself, but it "fights" a bit with that distorted saw sound. There's a good amount of variation in there, so it never gets boring. Oh yeah, faster vocals rocks :-) Overall I would probably turn the vocals up a notch.
