I am a sound engineer with very broad professional experience. I have worked live and in studios with well know commercial acts as well as in broadcast.
My studio experience covers a wide range of genres and my live work has been mainly with greek pop and rock artists.
My technical knowledge is very strong, from
micing up right through recording, mixing and broadcasting.
I seem to have bumped into you as well as Cassie on the forums...
Post some tracks so we can hear what you're all about!
I see that you work with Greek pop/rock artists... this might come as a surprise to you, but I'm Greek myself. Milas elinika?
Cheers
Thankyou :D
it went really well, they gave me the two genres i'd revised the most; Rock and Roll, and Hip-Hop/RnB. As well as asking questions on the obvious reverb, echo, slap-back echo, panning, call and response!, stereo field, stereo depth and close mic recordings :D Feeling very pleased with it :D
Thanks for all your help on career wise :D
Cassie :D
Thankyou for your response :D
its been a great help. I do really like working in the recording studio so i may start looking for jobs and take a gap year. I'm not decided yet. I'm thinking to work up in steps, i don't want to start too deep as i know i wouldn't cope however i definatly would like to start. i have my music Technology a'level exam today! hehe so i will see how this goes :D i guess most of my decision will be based on my results :D
Thanks again and have a nice day :)
Cassie :)
Thankyou for replying :D
So if i was to get a job picking up information, where would you suggest searching for a job? i'd love to know all about recording, mixing, performing everything. I just i don't know WHAT i want to do with myself yet, all i know is that i want to spend my life with music. Also what did you do as an assisting pro engineer? It sounds interesting :D
Thanks again
Cassie :)
Hey, my names Cassie and i'm 17. I see you've got quite a bit of knowledge and experience up your sleeve and was just wandering how you started to get into the music industry. I'm currently studing music technology A-level but afterwards i would like to get started with a job in the industry as well as university in Bath studying music. Do you have any tips? Thankyou for reading my comment :)
Have a nice day
Cassie :)
