Update- THIS IS AN EXPERIMENTAL SONG. I like my stuff harder with cooler drums and more change ups. But I let this song be what it is. I recorded this song by myself so its not all that great. And I also did all the recording and its been a learning process. The vocals are kinda struggling and i dont have any bass guitar recorded yet. Sort of an idea of how I play guitar. Looking for honest feedback.
26 Year old male looking for auditions for a rock/metal project called either Tron Johnson (Self) or Stars Run Red. I am currently in a gigging band and want to start a side project that isn't screamo metal.

Looking for people 21 and up that are serious about doing music. I'm looking for people that fall under one or more of these categories: talent, pro gear, possible stage experience, commitment level and people that want to have fun and play live. Most important: commitment, having fun, and playing shows.

The Band:

The music will hit hard but won't venture into scream metal. From kick ass hard rock songs, to one or two slow songs, and maybe an acoustic song here and there. Tempo changes, sick guitar work/solos (no dragon force) and added elements like violin and electronica (Not full techno). We wont be emo, punk, gothic, or death metal. We will make our own style and sound unique for sure.

Some influences are: Staind, Scary Kids Scaring Kids, Birthday Massacre, Old Metallica, FlyLeaf, Lacuna Coil, Trivium, Red, Saliva, RA, Avenged Sevenfold, Garbage, Breaking Benjamin, Sixx AM, Enter Shikari and more. Guitar Influences: Joe Satriani, John Petrucci, Michael Angelo Batio, Paul Gilbert, Wylde, Rhodes.

The band needs a bass player and possibly a drummer. (I know a few drummers already) If you can sing and play an instrument, even better. Possible interest for another guitarist and/or synth/keyboardist. Trying to keep the band under 5 people. I will be uploading some of my material soon. Please, no drug users.
