About Me

Skill Level:
Professional
Craft:
producer
Instruments:
Bass, acoustic guitar, piano, voice (lead), drums
Genres:
traditional pop, jazz blues, hip hop, rhythm and blues (r&b)

Nayler Largie better known as 'silky' was born in birmingham england on april 7th 1987 and was raised by his mother 'Sheryl Estridge' and father 'David Largie'. The young producer/songwriter has been perfecting his craft for well over 10 years, and now at the tender age of 21 states that he is "ready to be unleashed into the world". Silky's musical roots stem from growing up in church and also spending the majority of his childhood in his fathers studio watching sessions and playing the occasional piano part when required.

The multi-instrumentalist (piano, guitar, bass, drums, vocal) has a very unique sound which incorporates familiar sounds from past legends such as quincy jones and marries it to the modern sound we are familiar with which is orientated by computer programmed drum patterns pionered by producers such as 'Timberland'. Many say that silky's distinct music caters for every listener as; if a listener likes a big club banger they will more than indulge in silky's infectious drum patterns but also for the listener that prefers catchy melodies and memorable chord structures they will get these qualities on the same track! His music has taken him to many european countries such as italy, czech republic and poland to name a few. The young talent now resides in London and is focused on achieving a long fruitful career in the music industry. Silky is now focussing all of his efforts to achieving a publishing or production deal by the end of 2008 and sets his sights on moving to the U.S.A " when a worth while opportunity comes my way"

He has recently finished producing and co writing the highly anticipated e.p titled 'So...this is me' by Jaz Ellington. He has also recently finished recording his own E.P self titled 'silky' of which all tracks were penned, produced, sung and mixed by himself.
Silky is now offering his services to produce, remix and write for any artists, publishing/record companies that are interested.
