I'm new to indaba, but it looks really interesting, and it may be what I've been looking for. I have everything I need in my little home studio to build entire songs - entire symphonies, with soft synths and the like - but there's one very important thing missing. Few artists have had the ability to produce truly remarkable music alone; most need that collaboration, that feedback that comes when you sit down with your collaborators and say, "Hey, I just came up with this cool little riff... listen to it and let me know what you think!" - whereupon the drummer picks up a beat, the bassist starts laying down the bedrock, and the singer's eyes light up with the spark of lyrical inspiration. I'm hoping that indaba can bring some of that to my little rec-room studio.
