soundcaster is a production name of Producer/Musician Robyn Phiri. I'm Copperbelt through and through so music is communication first then probably edutainment. Don't know when the journey ends but I'll take every shot I can and try to get better. Open to all ideas... well maybe not all! Robyn is also 1/2 of the sibling duo Pozitive Play who play live and produce.

Hey Robyn!
It's great to hear from you again! Yeah, I've been doing a lot of contests recently, mostly 'cause it's a lot of fun, but also 'cause there's a big lull in paying work. :( I'm doing 1 more (the Weezer thing) and then I'm out for a while. End of summer means the day jobs demand WAY more of my time..plus, everybody is probably getting sick of seeing me around on every contest. Let me know what you're up to if you get a moment!

I'll tell you a little secret..I'm actually using Vienna Special Edition Series(Plus) It's the cross-section of the entire orchestra.I'm about to get the extended Special Edition so I can have ALL the articulations! That full package costs about $900 U.S.The price is coming down a bit.You can add other Vienna instruments as you go.There's also a discount if you buy the downloads from the VSL website. It's really easy to use.I've only had it for a couple of months and I don't really know what I'm doing!! It's gonna be nice when I can really spend some time with the software!

You really should get it!!

Robyn!!! Thanks for the kinds words.I've just tried to be positive on this site and it's great to be able to be in touch with people that do what you do with a passion! I've learned quite a bit from my short time on this site and I've actually written a song off of an idea I got from someone else's remix! A completely different vibe altogether! Thank you for the well wishes and I pray the same for you my friend!!

Peace

Jackie
