Working as DJ for 10 Years in a wide variety of nightclubs.

My first gigs were in Vancouver's inner city rave scene around 2000 and introduced to the Granville circuit. Later on, opportunities arose with Soul Good Tuesdays a hip hop night with Kutcorners and at Sonar in Gastown with DJ Clarence Vancouver's house enigma(?) We later on moved to float the boat at Ginger 62 and then made off with the ducats.
this one time, me and a few other promoters were involved in communications exercise ,cited by press and I even had to defend myself in court only to win the case.

It was at that time I decided I needed a vacation so I went to Montreal to look for a summer job and a french girlfriend. When I got there, there were no jobs and my both my french and english were starting to get worse. Because I had no job, I had no money and couldn't afford to get back to Vancouver so I signed up for school and passed out flyers for lunch money, and a few odd jobs here and there.

It was then I started to remember how I had once been a DJ, and I thought to myself, "self. It would really be a shame if you decided to not give yourself the respect of actualizing your talents for the sake of self respect."

So I began to DJ like a motherfucker it was all I would do. Thanks to Bastid, DJ Mana and spectrum of others, Some of the most advance DJ styles have become a second nature to the point of undeniable skill. But just to be certain.. we could battle, if that's your thing).

As lately I find the club scene to be a much less interesting focal point for musical creativity than is the studio, I've decided to opt for the latter.. so let's get live.
