My band is consumed with gifted abilities that hold no boundaries and bridge gaps between struggle and passion, and that define perseverance. We exhume change, we radiate difference, we embrace reality while living in a musical dream. Creating soundtracks of our struggles, creatively releasing whether it be melodically, poetically, vocally, through instrumentation, or through dance we encompass the standards of musical freedom. We are blessed with a poet, who shows no restraint on the rhythmic delivery of her spirit filled expression, brilliantly intertwining a soft balance of intellect and beauty enhancing the very meanings of words themselves. A lead mic who sings with her heart, with every intention of educating the world in the song full bliss of freedom which is illustrated in every note uttered. A vocalist whose drive stems from the growth of music placed in her, displaying her love for music in her passion driven notes, she characterizes an expression that can be heard with the soulful sound which could easily snatch the listener back to the classic jazz days. A lyricist who brings back the pride and courageousness which female rappers once held. She is limitless, giving off an undeniable vibe, making rap seem like child's play, a free-flowing individual who keeps her listeners locked into her energy. A drummer who shows his freedom through the empowerment he places over his drum set, who can not only be heard but felt through each stroke of his sticks. A keyboard player who moves freely in the placement of his gift along the black and white, freeing you from any constraints of typical radio music, blasting the listeners into a futuristic sound while at the same time lightly sending them into a melodic coma. My band consists of history, of the aura of disbelief, of a rawness of talent which cannot be reproduced or staged. They are capitalizing on the mission of providing meaning and importance to words which have found themselves weightless, joining the movement of reviving the arts of expression. Basking in the reality of truth which is educated by their gifts, peacefully haunted by their drive they strive and live for the release which can be felt in the simplicity of a breath.
