First off, know that most of the beats you hear on my profile are for lease or sale, they can also be customized and tweaked by demand.
Or if you need a beat for one of your songs, let me read the lyrics or hear an accapella, and I'll put something together for you.

Hit me up and we'll take it from there ;)

I was born in `87 in Norway, music has always been part of me, even as a toddler I'd play on my sister's keyboard.
At the age of 15 I moved up north to attend school, and that's when I discovered just how much music is a part of me.

I started scribbling rhymes outside of class and during class; I had this craving, this urge to get the music out of me so I could share it with the rest of the world, 'cause the music I was hearing in my head was so good, so vibrant, I would feel bad if I kept it to myself.

So I started signing up for talent contests. I persuaded the local youth clubs to let me on stage when they had parties, and while doing that I also discovered that other people enjoyed the music I carried around inside me.

At that point, I decided that this is what I want to do.
It gives me so much joy, and heck... other people like it too..! This is my role in life. I am a music artist. I am an entertainer.

Band or Group:
John C. Conundrum
Favorite Lyric:

In my shoes, just to see, what it's like to be me
I'll be you, let's trade shoes, just to see what it'd be like to
Feel your pain, you feel mine, go inside each others minds
Just to see, what we find, look at sh*t through each others eyes
But don't let them say you ain't beautiful
They can all get f**ked, just stay true to you

Working With Others

How I Work:

What happens is; I hear music in my mind, I need to get it out. So I find the sounds on my PC, and try to put it together as close to my mental image as possible.

When it comes to writing, I wait for inspiration, and the rest is automatic.

As for what I expect from collabs and such;
I want to meet artists that are as serious and devoted as myself. When I say that,
I'm talking about getting up in the middle of the night to write down lyrics or slap together a beat that came to you then and there.
You know?
Having the need to get it out there. Being inspired.

If you're that kind of person, hit me up.

@~\~/~Let me know if you would like to work on one of my beats, be it song, rap, remix.
Just let me know.

The world is our playground, and music is our favorite toy.

Experience:

Been on stage performing my own songs 15 times now in the past 3 years.

I write all my own lyrics, both Norwegian and English.

I also produce my own beats.

Equipment:

I recently moved to Canada, leaving my studio equipment in Norway.

All I work with now, is a PC, pen and pad, and my noggin'.

Lars Melby wrote on May 5, 2009:

Hey guys.
I'm seriously considering making a session for my beat "Trouble at Cranky Joe's"

I wanna make a song that can help making Canadian Hip-Hop more visible and perhaps even take over the rap-scene.
The east coast had their turn, the west coast had their reign, the dirty south has worn out their crown...
Now it's time for the North North to devastate the game!

Thats basicly the theme for the song, now i need some clever MC's to manifest this message, let's make an avalanche the game will never forget!

If you're up for it, send me a message, and i'll start the session, and together we'll show em that Canada's the hottest, no matter how much snowfall we get :p
