Yeah, I listened to it yesterday actually. Since it is a rough cut I'll wait until you bring up a better version to give you some truer feedback.
But as of now, you're right, it's really rough and raw. Developing your voice and guitar skills would help this song out a lot. But you do have some good feels when you sing. The song itself actually reminds me of Augustana's style of music. While you develop your skills try to acquire some better equipment to record with. Though, that's easier said than done, ya know?
