My name is Bobby V and I'm from Houston, Texas. I'm currently a 3rd semester student at Berklee College of Music. I'm a filmscore major and I dream of sharing my music with the world through movies, television, video games..you name it! ... I don't do drugs, but I'm addicted to music. I really enjoy jammin with friends and playing anything as long as it has feeling. Let me know what ya think of my music. peace
Having a listen to your track now, i like how all the elements fit together and the rise and fall of it. Reminded me a little bit of the tense kind of music they play in shows like the Apprentice when they have to make a hard decision. Don't take that as an insult by the way! It builds a pretty specific kind of mood.
Done any scoring on any particular projects i could see on youtube etc?
Japan was pretty crazy. Stressful and awesome at the same time. I bought a shitload of music there too. Ever been?
wow thanks bobby v. i appreciate it .. this is kind of an experiamental project im working on.. i need to sit down and record some stuff for realz! but thanks for the comment.. any suggestions for me?
Hey, glad you're liking it! I'm in Japan at the moment, the hostel im in has no speakers so i cant listen to your tracks just yet (will do so when i get back)
Notice you're doing a film score course, thats very cool, how do they structure a course like that? Do you work with the film students?
Most Ive done in that regard is some music used with a live dance performance at a contemporary arts gallery. Something Id be keen to get into more, for sure.
I'm new on indaba so I'm not solid on what I'm supposed to write, but I really enjoyed your track :)

Um, depends what sort of thing you're into.
Lots of great electronic, triphop stuff happening, as well as hiphop.
Shin-ski, Aus, Himuki, Nujabes, Scamcircle, Gagle, Mitsu the beats, Samon Kawamura, Shingo Suzuki, S as in Soul, Cornelius
By the way, your mentioning of film scoring has inspired me to nag my friend to hook me up with some of his director buddies to do some music for small theatre shows and indie films. So thanks :D
