Check that for more info on fft. The women will come flocking if you explain it to them, they love practical (and theoretical) applications of complex math. I'm thinking of slowing segments of glitch core down (waaaay down, to the point that it swells) and convolving with some choir, I have to write little choir thing, then maybe you could run that through and slice it all up again. Or anything you want to try.
