Mario Spinetti grew up in the backstage wings of opera houses, which led him to arrange, direct, and perform musical compositions for major TV networks as well as taking a solo bow at Carnegie Hall before he was 16

He is a celebrated recording artist and an award-winning songwriter/producer who has performed his original work at such prestigious venues as Carnegie Hall, The Kennedy Center, and The Meijer Gardens Amphitheater, alongside some of the all-time greats, including Grammy award-winning artists such as Dianne Schuur, Paul Simon, and Judy Collins.

Mario is recognized as both a John Lennon and a Bertlesmann Songwriting award-winner. He has worked as music coordinator under Joann Akalaitis and Mikhail Baryshnikov at the Baryshnikov Arts Center in New York City, and his personal recording and performance credits include appearances on national radio, and national as well as international TV.
