Putting a pen to paper has been his way of expressing himself since childhood. Throughout the years, he has honed his technical and artistic skills in a way that can't be ignored, and in turn has received praise from professors and hip hop street scientists alike. He is not an artist one can easily forget after seeing a performance.
Clinton “the SHOW DOCTOR” Davis has been promoting his latest album, entitled The End Of Being Broke, which has been described as his 'most powerful work to date'. Having broke even in record sales, he has decided to futher promote the message by giving away the remaining copies of the album for free to all who desire to lend an ear. Since the release, the album has already found it's way into the hands of hundreds of fans across Canada. Currently residing in Moncton, New Brunswick for peace of mind, Davis has begun work on his second, yet to be titled full length album. Davis will also be releasing two music videos to the public, as he continues to work with and promote the many artists who work alongside him. Davis likes to think of himself as "Cocky on the mic / Yet so humble in my life" indicating his desire to grow and learn, while always being available to help others develop and grow as well.
Davis has contributed to the urban music scene in Toronto not only as an independent hip-hop artist, but also as a producer and engineer for several local musicians and professional theatre productions in the city. Some of his theatre experience includes performances at Elgin Theatre, Lorraine Kimsa Theatre for Young People, Theatre Passé Muraille and Equity Showcase Theatre. He has graced many stages, performed alongside such legends as Lorraine Reid, Roger Smith and Rahzel of the Roots, and has received national recognition over the years from print, broadcast and online mediums, including interviews with - and notable mention from - the Toronto Star, NOW Magazine, Toronto Life, Global Television and HipHopCanada.com.
Having studied audio engineering at the Harris Institute for the Arts, interned/worked in professional music studios, produced, acted and rapped in a dozen musicals, Davis has made a name for himself among music lovers across the country.
Davis writes and records all of his own material, with the help of in-house producers and guest production. With more than 50 live performances in venues across Canada, 30 mixtape contributions to date, along with guest appearances on other artists' albums under his belt, Davis is ready and eager to take his talent to the next level.
