Hello all! Influence is the name, I'm a Hip-Hop producer, DJ, and writer. I'm born and raised from the east coast but currently living in Minneapolis. I've been into this culture of music since I was in 7th or 8th grade. Right after my brother gave me a tape of Wu Tang Clan (36 Chambers) it was embedded in me.

I love all types of music reggae, folk, ska, emo, punk, soul/funk, r&b, but Hip-Hop is my true love! I've been DJing for about 6 years and making beats seriously for about 2 years. Started off DJing in HIgh School so I guess I just made the natural progression to beats.

I'm all about keeping it thought provoking, real, funky, and soulful. Anyone who is down to achieve just that, get at me and we'll make it happen.

I really like the sound of some of the stuff you've got up here.

Got any excess beats sitting around (that might still be in the works, even, or maybe in the scrap heap?) that you're looking for someone, anyone to spit on? I've really been itching to get into doing some more hip-hop, but I'm not really connected with anybody who's making beats right now.

I'd spit on my own stuff, but I don't like flowing to my own beats, and sometimes I just want to spit on something funkier that hasn't got so much rust on it, but I don't have the time and energy to make a beat that'll suit the energy I've got. Know what I mean?

Sometimes you just want to spit something, and you just gotta do it, but by the time you put together a beat that's ready for some shit like that you're too sick of hearing it to want to rap on top of it.

Hey could u please take a listen to my new remix Da Game Been Good To Me (New Zealand Remix) with UGK.

I think I did a good job on this, definetly worth a listen. It's a song made for a remix contest for Jamglue. It's basically a diss to fake MC's who are destroying the game, I mention a few underground MC's who fall in that category as well (Kidology, Infect and 3shot).

Tell me how u feel, harsh criticism will help me grow as an MC so feel free to point out flaws

Sorry, my studio recently got broken into and my computer was stolen. Tomorrow, i'm moving my stuff into another location. For the past week i haven't done anything with music, due to the break in. I'll let you know when progress has been made. ~glo~

i love your music! If you got a track for me, send it. I really like the Take it for What it Is, Track. That's hot. You can send that one cause i already got a hook to it! LOL! All the stuff on my page that you heard is old. i'm working on an album now, and i want different types of tracks on it, and you seem like you could be a great addition. I have my own producer that makes all my beats, but i would also like your flavor in my album. my email is
