Working With Others

How I Work:

Honest, I am an insecure dude when it comes to my songs... so insecure, I have never allowed anyone to teach me anything. Despite this, and despite all the hiss and bad habits I have inflicted on myself through years self-teaching, I like alot of my songs and I really love my fucking voice.

Here is what I envision, in three parts:

1) Folks with instrumental talent see promise in one of my tracks and redo it with gusto.

2) Lazy, Brazen, and Sloppy Folks get urges to howl and bang alongside me. Please jump right on in.

or

3) Someone finds a piece of their puzzle in one of my tracks and would like to collaborate. I am a sucker for that kind of shit, but by heed my musical insecurities, I need specific instructions on what you envision and direct feedback (don't mince words) on what I proffer.

Experience:

I went through my first 24 years of life without touching an instrument. Now I am 29, have about 150 little ditties floating around, and everytime I sit to record I feel like I am at a clean slate.
Never had instruction, I don't know what I am doing, but things are satisfying this way.

Equipment:

--Acoustic Guitar (Somewhere in between a Wal-Mart caliber guitar and a guitar you might find at Target)
--Electric Guitar (Ibanez Artcore)
--Banjo
--Fender Acoustasonic Junior Amp (w/ some nice reverb and delay effects)
--Alesis Firewire mixer
--Midi/USB keyboard
--MacBook (with Reason, Cubase, Garageband, ProTools if needed)
--Tambourine
