I love music and I love trying to make music. I'm pretty new at it but I'm doing my best! Help me out by notating my songs.
- How I Work:
Here's how I work...
FreeStyle: This means that I choose an instrument (On my keyboard) and I play at my own pace doing anything. There is no structure besides what I create freely. I will only post recordings of freestyle, they are unedited and may contain errors, unending repeats and random fits of behavior and/or mood swings.....
Practice:
Practice means its either a piece that I made up or someone elses work. If it is someone elses work I will list the author and title to it. If it is a piece that I wrote I will either give it a name or just name the instrument and date I played it with (If I haven't named the piece yet). All practice work is a recording and unedited. It reflects my skill when I practice something over and over and over... again... (All done by hand on my korg keyboard)
Remix:
Remix is just like it means. I take samples from freestyles and practice sessions and then mix it into a song. Currently I need a lot of work on song making.
- Experience:
I took a few lessons when I was around 12 years old. I only have one song in memory from it and its a simple tune.
In recent years I've been slowly learning how to read music. I'm not at the point where I can play while reading though...
I do still practice a ton on the keyboard. I come up with a scale and then play it to the point where its simple. I try and practice for at least 15 hours a week. I also love to practice songs that I have created myself. Especially since I've created more songs then I currently know how to play.
- Equipment:
PC - I use fruityloops and can still use reason. I also recently bought Synthasia.
Korg Keyboard - Getting pretty good at
