Awesome! Well, in some places it is, but that's because there are so many little studios starting up now. There are still big studios that cost a lot to hire obviously.
Yeah, I have been doing the mix again every other day until i'm really happy with it. Then I will upload the final mix in a couple of days.

awesome dude that sounds great! well there is a little practice studio in my town and I go and record all my drums (for my bands songs and my own covers) there. So I don't mind recording some drum tracks sometime too :)

Hey dude! I'll have my version of that Rivers song up in the next few days. Just have to finish mixing it. I visited your myspace page. Very nice stuff man. Impressive. Are you working for a music house or freelance or what? I'm mainly do pop and or rock tracks. I'm trying to get into the commercial music biz as a jumping off point. I've made some connections at some audio post houses here in Minneapolis. I spent the summer writing library music for one of them, but haven't had a whole lot of luck landing a spot yet. It's sooo competitive. But i love it. I see you're an Ableton guy. I don't use it much but some of my friends live by it. Cheers
