Empire Road, a pop/alt/rock band from New York, consists of Joe Lorge (lead vox/rhythm guitar), Marc Lichtenstein (vox, lead guitar), Mantis Evar (bass), and Jeremy Cohen (drums). The band formed in 2007 and performs songs written by Joe and Marc. The music can be described as a melodic and hook driven brand of rock and roll, complete with all the elements that make songs stick in your head well after you’ve heard them just one time. At Indaba, they demonstrate a few songs from their repertoire that shows the songwriting and hooky riffs which make their music memorable.
