About Me

Skill Level:
Semi-Pro
Craft:
dj, composer, musician
Instruments:
cello, turntables
Genres:
trip-hop, classical, drum and bass, fusion, electronica, classic metal, hip hop
Influences:
Everything I feel, see, touch, hear, do, and think of in life., Life

I am a new student at the University of Miami persuing a Music Degree in both, Cello Performance and Media Writing Production. I have been studying cello for 13 and a half years and grew up in the Washington D.C. area. Before I came accross a set of turn-tables and production equipment (about a year ago), I was training to become a professional ballet dancer; moving at age 16 to a "big city" to train with a "big company" which was here in Miami. I walked into Scratch DJ Academy last summer and found the art of turntable-ism and producing/creating beats and commercial compositions-from that moment on I knew what I wanted to do in life! I was in the studio almost every day, learning how to scratch, and after a semester of a Midi I course had been convinced that University of Miami was the pinnical of scene for my new and continuing musical interests.

Favorite Lyric:

"The experience you gained should be admired, not just whether you lose or win,
cause eventhough you must go through fire only to become brand new in the end.
I realized I can't change the world...no matter how much I try,
but hopefully I can start with you:
one line at a time, one rhyme at a time-"
-Soul Position, Blu Print, and RJD2 (from "One Love")

Josh Bisher wrote on October 24, 2008:

I think it's a good start. You should have it explode from this point. Add a crazy drumline and "Glitch up" the harmony If you get what I'm saying (thats what I would do), but I'm not the best artist so Im sure you can figure out something sick to do.

Josh Bisher wrote on October 24, 2008:

Yeah I agree we are very similar in style I had that thought already too. Checking out ur mix right now. I just uploaded a really rough version of the criminal remix a second ago check it out let me know what you think.
