- How I Work:
GArageband FTW! at home anyway. I am starting to use logic, though it is a lot to get your head round. At college I use reason and cubase, but I mostly use those for recording, when I write my music, I opt for garageband, then record live at college using cubase.
- Experience:
I am currently taking my A Levels include Music Technology B-Tech. I host acoustic nights at my local youth club, DJ for the younger kids at my school and help out at Billirox, a rock music night held every other month at the local village hall. this has given me a lot of experience working with live music, for recorded music, I have recorded school bands for music tech projects and I am the cheif technician for the school radio station.

Do you think it would be ok if i just took the output from my amp and plugged it into the normal audio in on the back of my iMac? Would it sound different than using an interface? I use very high distortion for my music, if thats necesary information.
Hey that would be great - I would love to throw something together. I've been meaning to get back into this, just haven't got a chance.

a sound card is virtually the same thing as an interface right? sorry i'm kinda new to recording haha.
