Cody Flick

I am an ex student of electronic music as UCSC. There is studied various techniques of recording sound, manipulating them and composing songs. From my training i have come away loving the art of sampling. I have spent a good amount of my time capturing sounds from various sources such as, my sometimes obscure records, my NES, and circuit bent toys which ive taken appart.

I am also heavy into Max/MSP. I've already created a patch to turn the rock band controller for wii into a fully functioning MIDI controller/sampler that can play a total of 46 different guitar chords in any key, play a range of 31 individual notes, and playback up to 5 samples with 5 different real time effects controlled by the whammy bar. I am now working on a makeshift Korgg Kaos Pad that is controlled by a visual element as developed in Jitter, but im not very well versed in that branch of the software. I am also an avid Reason user when i write my songs.
