Wukimon was originally founded in 2002 by members Jonas Einarsson, David Jacobsson, Olof Sellgren and Jonas Borell. The groupmembers are the same as those of the dadaist post-rock group Ronnie the Bull. The music of Wukimon however is more electronic and carefully written and produced, whereas the music of Ronnie the Bull is freely improvised. Most of Wukimon’s songs fall into the category of ‘mellow electronica’. Some of the instrumental tracks though could just as easily be categorized as ‘minimalist classical music’ in the same vein as Steve Reich and John Cage.

Wukimon started out making music on a playstationgame and a demo was recorded in 2002. So far however no release has been made featuring all the members of the group. The EP 'Agni', out now on iTunes, Amazon and a bunch of other online stores, was mainly a project by Jonas Einarsson although one of the songs (The Fire) was co-written by Einarsson & Jacobsson and features a screaming, distorted harmonium ably played by David.

In the fall of 2008 Wukimon also released the online-single 'Flute of Krishna' to highlight the two instrumental tracks from the Agni EP. This single features an extended version of the meditative bansuri-track 'Flute of Krishna'.
