Congratulations to you as well! It was well deserved, your mix sounds fantastic! I wasn't counting on even coming in 2nd...I felt I went a little too far off the deep end with that one to expect to win, but it was a lot of fun to do. The prize is just (a lot of) icing on the cake. The cake is coming up with a completely ridiculous idea and spending weeks to make it actually work. Anyhow...great job once again! I look forward to hearing more of your work!

Thanks for everyone's comments!! There were a lot of good submissions and I can't believe I won 1st place in the Rivers Cuomo contest. I was hoping to at least make the top 10 mentions but I'm pleasently surprised. I am so excited by this because Weezer is my number 1 favorite band and I've been listening to them since the Blue Album. What inspired me to do this style was a video I saw of Weezer covering Poker Face live. I thought it's be cool to give a similar tone to this song and it looks like I was right. All I can hope now is that Rivers is checking the winners out, Rivers are you out there?
