- How I Work:
I like to feed of of music. When I make my own stuff I can just need a basic idea to start working with. Any bass line or drum track can have a feeling that can spawn ideas. I usually get the low level rhythm first and then add stuff on top of that.
- Experience:
I've played guitar for about 7 years, drums for maybe 2, and I've just started digging into the bass guitar in the last few months. I mess around with Reason but mostly for synthesizer and sound crafting purposes.

Fender Jaguar Bass, crappy drums, Oscar Schmidt semi-hollow electric guitar, Fender Strat, 1960s Guyatone Amp, Firestudio Project recording interface, and plenty of mics

Thanks man. Those are Reason tracks. I don't have a good way of recording drums so I usually just program something in Reason or find a track similar to what I want.
Well, I am a vocalist and guitar player. I guess I'm here to sing and write lyrics. I work based on inspiration. If I was to say what I want it is to sing.
for me, it just depends on the idea. many things come into my head and it doesn't take me long to identify the entire song. other times, i get a small idea but am not sure where to go with it. i have a few songs that i've never been able to come up with vocals ideas for. i might post one of those up some day. but yeah, let me know if you start anything. we seem to have similar tastes.
Good stuff, is that a band you play with or did you record the parts yourself, one at a time?

yeah i just used a delay pedal and garageband . and just recorded all the parts myself. i didn't like write any of it beforehand so it was just some unplanned jamming but it came out ok.
