Agghhh... 2 projects lost that were on my wife's computer that had the program I was using to mix some music together. Somehow the program went bad, and that was the end of it. I tried to reecover it but its gone. Good news though is at least I have the 2 mp3's for the 2 songs I did finish though. Soooo this new software that was on my wife's computer is now being put on mine and I hope to have something up in a day or 2 if Im lucky. Keep rooting for me and I'll do what I can to keep you rockin as well. ^^

Gaelen,
I remember losing essays back in undergrad (although, in my case, it was generally because I hadn't saved) and having to redo them. Argh! A shiver just ran down my spine at the thought of sitting there in the wee hours of the morning, trying desperately to recapture all the salient points before they slipped away. What a pain!
I seem to remember, though, that those were some of my best pieces. Hope the sour lemons of losing the songs are sweetened by a great end result. Looking forward to hearing them!

This is the DUMB principle: Disasters Usually Motivate Backups.
After one or two disasters, I began to use an online backup service. For about $50/year I have peace of mind. Just about every time I shut down, I back up.
