Gil has been in the music business since the 70's, has performed with many bands and can collaborate in many different genres of music. Currently he is Producing several artists who have recorded at his private studio. Gil likes to network and continually learn new recording techniques and work on projects. Currently, Gil is collaborating with other artists in the Peace Partners projects as well as a few select sessions. Mainly playing drums on these sessions but also laying down some keys and guitar tracks. Any sessions he plays instruments for outside of Peace Partners is because he believes these songs have radio play potential. If you would like to work with Gil just drop him a message.
- Band or Group:
- No Man Is An Island
- Favorite Lyric:
Remember, wherever you go... There you are! Actually I don't have any favorite lyrics, this line came from one of the Mad Max movies, Mad Max Beyond Thunderdome. I'm actually more into playing drums, guitar, bass, keys, and some odds and ends and also sculpting a great sound, editing and mixing, I'll let the composers think about their favorite lyrics.
- Day Job:
- Producer / Engineer / Studio Owner

- How I Work:
I'm looking to collaborate and/or mix & produce songs that have potential! I can work on songs most anytime throughout the week, schedule permitting. Currently I am in multiple sessions collaborating with artists all across the world as well as producing, mixing and mastering at my own studio.
For music projects where I create a work for hire, I will add instrumentation & submit a mix of the work. Upon approval, payment can be made via PayPal and I will upload the Wav/s file to any server you desire. Payment is negotiable depending on the project. Don't be afraid to ask! I'm easy to work with and will produce professional results.
Looking for professional Mixing and/or Mastering. Price is negotiable on size of project!
- Experience:
Musician for over 30 yrs, studio owner for over 6 yrs, music director for local church 4 yrs, producer for 5 yrs. I play electric, acoustic 12 string gtr, nylon acoustic and bass guitar. I also create synth/piano parts and play drums on request. I have many different virtual synths in which I can record strings, horns, or any part you desire. My main instrument is guitar but I'm also known to play the drums on many of my collaborations. I currently have at my studio a Yamaha DTXtreme IIs electronic drum set. With the many drum kits available plus the kits in Addictive Drums I can change kits at a whim.
- Equipment:
I have a private studio where I can record and produce. Some of the equipment I have are Pro Tools 8 with Digi 003 Rack+, Audition V3, FL Studio 9, various plugins including Waves Plugins, IK Multimedia, Waves GTR3, Addictive Drums, and hardware such as Avalon VT 737SP, Focusrite ISA 1 & Platinum Voicemaster Pro, various VST instruments, microphones (lots of microphones), keyboards, turntable, tapedeck, outboard compressors and reverb units, and other equipment for recording . I've recently purchased a Yamaha DTXtreme IIs electronic drum kit... nice! This will help composing drums even easier, especially since my main instrument is guitar.

Hi Gil' Wayne...! How are you ? Just wanted to keep in touch, and wish you a Wonderful Holiday, and a Blessed New Year! Peace Always !
Thanks, Gil. I guess Indaba figured that December 7th needed yet another reason to be considered a "date that shall live in infamy"...so they decided to make me the "featured" artist. *g*
Gil-- My profile just hit 96%, but don't know why....?????!
If u have time could u please review my two latest tracks.
Zodak The Cosmic Enforcer/60 Bars Of Termination- One of the maddest songs I've done. Is it the best. You decide? Mad props to my boy Cusp for the mad beat.

Fly (DNDeee-Mix)- This is a remix of the J-Kwon song "Fly", it's for a Jamglue remix contest. Tell me how you feel. Hot or not? You decide.

Hello Gil' Wayne... I'd like to collaborate with you on a few tunes. I'm tied up through October, working on new material, but let's keep in touch to see how we can work on "Grammy worthy" material...I'm really a songwriter, and would love to provide new tunes for a variety of artists, of all genres. Have a wonderful evening and a great weekend !

Hey Gil, its been great working with you as well, some great songs in the making. and yep drumming isnt my greatest talent :P
Gil Thanks, Actually I recorded all my originals (except for Peace For Our Planet Earth)on the Fostex 8-track PortaStudio (MR-8 mkII) and using an out board mixer (Behringer Xenyx 1002 FX) and a lot of punching in and out :) I am going to guitar center and pick up a Yamaha AtoD interface which comes with cubase software.
Thanks Gil for listening & commenting; I'm giving your tracks a spin now.
As you were saying it's nice to have a creative niche. I actually decided to concentrate on one genre so I could release a CD of similar material. But on the whole being more diverse has it's advantages & I would like to branch out a little more. Goa trance is remarkable music. Been listening to a lot of Morcheeba lately. MAN I WISH I COULD SING.
Paul.
Thanks for the kind words, Gil. Don't worry, I'll be clicking on your name again, sometime soon, I promise. It was equally enjoyable working with you, on these songs.

Hi Gil',
thanks, I'm glad you like my drumming...
And you remember me if you need drums in your songs, OK?
Best regards.
