My name is Jake Bastian and I'm a 16 year old musician. I specialize in Bass guitar thought i also play acoustic gutiar, and piano. I have been playing the bass for 3 years and have played more live shows than I can count. I also have recorded in a studio, and have a home studio in my house. I go to a performing arts high school where I major in instrumental music. I'm taking a class online from Berklee College of Music called "recording and producing in the home studio." I have played at a club in Allentown, PA called Croc Rock countless times. I own three basses; 5-string Fender Squier, Schecter C-4 XXX, and a fretless Warwick Corvette Std. I play almost every genre out there from metal, to jazz. I'm always looking for other serius musicians to jam with and maybe start something new. My dream is to become a professional musician.

Working With Others

How I Work:

Well I am a high school student, so i want to work when I can. Summer is coming up so thats the best time to start for me. I am going to be taking online college courses in music theory over the summer but for the most part i should be available over the summer. I would love to meet other musicians with similar interests as me, and maybe even start something serious.

Experience:

I've been playing Bass guitar for a little over 3 years now. I have been playing in a band called 2AM the whole time which has only helped me on my musical journey. I play other instruments including guitar, piano, percussion, and the banjo, although bass guitar is my best. I go to a performing arts high school where I major in Bass Guitar.

Equipment:

5-string Fender Squier bass, 4-string Schechter C4-XXX bass, Fretless 4-string Warwick Corvette std. bass, 5-string Samick banjo, etc.
