I'm an artist in many different forms. Someone who's dedicated his life to artistry and creativity, and will do anything possible to encourage it, facilitate it, and provoke it. I'm still quite young, but have been creating music as well as other forms of art for a pretty good minute. I'm a founder of the artist collective/label that I'm also a member of, The FTC, an ever-expanding environment whose objective is to create, and help anyone with that priority.

Working With Others

How I Work:

I have a pretty flexible schedule, providing it's not the summertime (beginning of June-beginning of September).

Experience:

I've been playing in bands here or there for at least five years now. First off, I was in a ska band in high school called "Skattish". A number of years down the line I starting getting active with a solo project, simply going by the name "Zac HB". The product of that was a short little demo titled "2008" that's available on iTunes. Around that time I was also playing tenor sax as a member of a local Minneapolis ska band, "The Small Kitchen Appliances", as well as fraternizing with the MCTC jazz band a little bit. The next step for me was to translate my solo project into something that could be a little less ambiguous while perhaps expanding and evolving a little bit. Fortunately the plans for the FTC were also becoming more and more real, thus putting me where I am at this point. A crossroads, of sorts... if you will... I suppose. Searching for connections, and other artists to form little projects with, so as to further the creative potential and power of the FTC.

Equipment:

Recording studio run on a Macbook Pro with Ableton Live 7.

hey man - Definitely! I'd love to do some stuff - Good to meet you as well.... I would just say, find folks on here whose music you really enjoy - contact them or comment on their music in the waveform player... (That definitely gets attention!) Then, create a session on indaba and start with a rough guitar/vox mix. From there, invite whoever you think would be a good fit for that particular track. If you want, I'll help you free of charge with mixing. I'm always looking to collaborate :) Hit me up anytime!
