Currently residing in New York, I play with a number of different individuals and ensembles. I play the traditional frame drum, known as Daf, which i started learning under the supervision of Amir Samadi at age 12. Tombak has been a recent addition to my vocab. I have worked on learning the Persian Classical Repertoire with madame Parissa, who has been such a heart-warming and generous inspiration.
