My background includes playing in classical orchestras, hearing jazz from the cradle, performing in musical theatre and cabaret, hanging out with the world's greatest DJ's and Divas in the hottest spots and parties, climbing to the top of the fashion game, and absorbing the energy of some of the world's most exciting locales. I hope that all of this experience shows in the music that I love to make now.

In in the 90's, I had the good fortune to work on promotions projects and management for Broadway Diva Lilias White and 4x #1 Billboard Artist Lonnie Gordon. Both ladies taught me a lot about vocal confidence and delivering emotion through song, as well as sharing their deep experiences of business do's and don'ts.

More recently I worked in marketing and A&R for independent label D1 Music, participating in the production, release, and marketing of Top 5 Billboard Hot Dance Chart hits, as well as remixes for Lisa Stansfield, RuPaul, SupaNova, and Lisa Hunt. I have learned a lot more about the business of music and how dance/club-play music is produced and promoted while working with D1.

As a vocalist, you'll find me in the triangle defined by James Ingram, Steve Perry, and Gladys Knight - at times soulful, husky, churchy, soaring, yet nuanced - as far as I know there's no other male vocalist in dance music working with my sound, so it's hard to make a comparison. Does anyone still remember Billy Ocean? I am a high baritone with strong falsetto. I have perfect pitch and excellent feel for song styling, melodic variation, and riffing.

I'm looking for writer/producer/programmer/engineer collaborator(s) in NYC area, but through the magical interwebnets, I can collaborate with anyone anywhere - I especially like the dance music that's coming out of Scandinavia, Greece, Brasil, and UK.
