Latest Feedback Quote 2008:

" It is so important to have great ears and intuition when performing as well as mixing music. Sounds like you have a great future ahead of you. Keep up the good work and thanks again for participating. Sincerely, Tony Lindsay ( Lead Vocalist, Santana ). "

ARNOLD HUGO STOLTING - Entrepreneur. Born In South America (GeorgeTown Guyana) and Raised in Europe (The Netherlands) and currently residing in North America (Toronto Canada).

His past and present ventures have taken him from being a Disc Jockey in the clubs in the late 80's, all the way across the board from Songwriting, Composing, and Arranging, to all aspects of Music production including remixing music and artist development.

As technology continues to change, Arnold keeps up to date by learning more each day about new ways of Music Production, Promotion and Distribution.

His passions are his spirituality, creating music and helping others, so therefore he combined those passions and spent much of his time in the past helping unsigned recording artists to turn their song ideas into their first demo CD production.

Arnold has not made Billions doing this, however seeing the joy in someone's eyes when their own songs come to life for the first time, this has been the greatest reward for him.

He creates music in the styles of Reggae, Dance, Pop, R&B, and sometimes he just mixes it all together.

His musical inspirations come from BOB MARLEY and the Wailers, and his main motivation to Produce, Remix and DJ in the past and present is credited to BEN LIEBRAND whom he considers to be one of the originals, and possibly one of the best Remixers In The World, also from the Netherlands where Arnold grew up.

Mr. Stolting runs his own company called the Stolting Media Group http://www.stoltingmediagroup.com which branches off into many different ventures from the Music Industry to Internet Marketing.

Currently Arnold is working with upcoming Indie Reggae Artist JRLOU producing his music.

Experience:

Arnold Hugo Stolting's New Year got off to a good start as he received prizes from 2 separate contests online in early January of 2008.

First he took home the Grand prize for winning first place in the Indaba Music New Year's Contest.

The challenge in this contest was to create your own original song using the Auld Lang Syne melody before the upcoming New Year.
Arnold choose to create a Dance Remix of the classic song by the mid 18th century composer Robert Burns. Robert would be proud that Arnold was able to create something so new from something so auld. For this mix, Arnold used his remix and production skills + one other very important component that made it a success. The previous Indaba music contest winner JoLynn Seamen, provided some amazing lead and backing vocal tracks for the track.

Secondly Mr Stolting picked up some very cool 2nd prizes in the Vocal Download Remix Contest. This involved creating a track by using licensed download samples. Arnold composed his own original groove to arrange what turned out to be a pretty cool up beat tune called "God Gave Us Rhythm - Let Me Sing My Song". in a style that sounds something like a cross between C&C Music Factory and Gospel. The winners for this contest were judged by Santana's Front Man Tony Lindsay.
"you really did a great job. The samples that you picked and your placement of them in "God gave us Rhythm let me sing", truly enhanced the song. It is so important to have great ears and intuition when performing as well as mixing music. Sounds like you have a great future ahead of you. Keep up the good work and thanks again for participating. Sincerely, Tony Lindsay( Lead Vocalist, Santana). "
