Actually, my son deserves the credit. We were talking music one day and he said to me, "Dad, you're never too old to Rock & Roll." Well, that was too good a line to let pass.
From this simple observation grew the title track of my lastest CD, the first new music I've recorded in over 15 years, "Too Old to Rock & Roll". I've posted it, along with nine other tunes from this 16-song CD, on my Indaba profile:

Any of my musical "peers"...the so-called "Baby Boomers"...should get a kick out of it -- and quickly recognize some of the "historical" references that snuck their way into the lyrics. It's all true, and it's all a musical "biography" anyone who first picked up an instrument or microphone in the '60s or '70s should be able to identify with. Give it a listen, if the mood strike you, and let me know what you think.
I'm lovin' Indaba...which I only discovered earlier this year...and am still amazed by the incredible PC technology that allowed me to set up a rudimentary, yet functional, recording studio in my basement. This stuff is a lot of fun and reinvigorated my interest in my first creative love: music.
I guess my son was right. You ARE never "Too Old to Rock & Roll". *heh heh*
