Hey Indaba Music! how are you?! all i can say to you guys is THANK U SO MUCH FOR THE OPPERTUNITY OF A LIFETIME WITH THE MARIAH CAREY REMIX COMPETITION...

however i do have some things which i have to say in regards to the the voting system... The majority of the particpants could agree with me when i say this... that the voting system method lacks credibility and objectiveness... The top remixers who will make the final are will be there because some of them actually do have talent and deserve to be there 100%.. whilst other remixers have, as user "FB cool" explains "EXPERT SPAMMING" skills and 'popularity' amongst other users, which will then cause them to be higher up than the more talented remixers! I know that going through 2000 mixes is a daunting and difficult task our three great judges, however, i know that there are more than 10 remixes in the remixing pile which all contain the three main remix aspects: Marketability, Originality, and Creativity. - and there are some which dont covour all the three grounds.

If you could consider changing the voting rules to make it more objective instead of subjective as it seems now... that would be sooo excellent. It would also be a fair game... thank you for your time.

hey hey people!!! It's ClubKid here. Thank you for taking the time to check out my blog... appreciate it heapppss!!!  First a little about me... I'm a 20 year old university student, situated in the land down under (yes, AUSTRALIIAA!!!), melbourne! :P Apart from studying, i love to produce, remix, singer and songwrite music and lyrics.... if i could do it as a career... I WOULD SOO DO IT! ... hehe

well a little about my styles - i'm an electro-pop/dance artist who loves anything which has rhythm ... supersonic or electronic sound that can ring in pplz ear drums, making them party till it ends (or not...lol)....an orgasm in ur ears if u like hehehe :P i have al ot of inspriartional artists which have influenced me in my work and writing... to them.. i THANK YOOU!!

ONE OF THEM IS MS. MARIAH CAREY... WOOW.. WHAT AN HONOUR... imagine working with her... it would be a dream come true for n e body.. i'd probably collapse on the floor if i ever met her.. looooll.. i know she is just a person like you and me.. but if she has been there since you were born and grew up with her music.. then u'd probably understand what i feel!!! looolll

for anybody who gets any prize (1st, 2nd, or 3rd) for their remix, make the most of it!!! its sooo important to put urself out there and show the industry who you are!! even those who  do not get anything and just gave it a go... all i can say is KEEP TRYING AND NEVER EVER GIVE UP....LIFE IS SOO SHORT FOR N E BODY TO BE DOWN ON THEMSELVES... i know we can all get stuck in that endless hole of darknes.. but with our own strength, mind and power, and with those around us, we can do whatever we can! .. we all have to move with the world and not be caught out behind it.. we just have to move forward with time...

anyway... GOOD LUCK TO ALL COMPETITORS... GOOD LUCK TO EVERYBODY WHO WANTS TO BREAK INTO THE MUSIC INDUSTRY.. I KNOW WE CAN MAKE IT.. let's show them what they're missing out on!! hehe.. take care ppl
