I'm a music man! I'm currently in a band called "Impact Karma" (check us out at www.myspace.com/impactkarma) as the lead guitarist!!

When I was younger, like when I was 13 or so I started messing around with my dad's acoustic guitar... Simply because I didn't have anything better to do since I lived in Rochester, NY... I wasn't into playing guitars at all, but as I got better and better at it, I started having so much fun with it.. So I decided to start a band but it was really hard to find decent players in middle school so I ended up joining a band that already existed... but didn't last long since I had to move to Los Angeles a few years later. When I came to LA, I joined pop/alternative/rock band called Motion Dive. With them, I got a lot of experience recording and playing shows etc. We recorded most of our songs at my place with cheap ass gears like m-audio, 90 bucks sennheiser headphones. As I started recording our songs, I got more interested in recording and mixing cuz I wanted the songs to sound better. I learned most of basics of what I needed to know off of internet forums and articles.
In 2004, I attended the Musicians Institute (G.I.T) which didn't last long :) I also took music theory classes since I didn't know what the hell I was playing on my guitar. It was there that I learned more about song structure and how to arrange songs. However the problem was since I didn't know shit about theories, they put me in beginner's class where you learn c,d,e,f,g,a,b,c and how to hold picks and shit... Shit that you learn in elementary school. I felt really awkward being there. So I decided to quit after like... six months or so :(
After leaving the school, I really wanted to make music as my career instead of working 10 hrs a day busting my ass learning nothing and to make someone else rich. So I began writing songs with Motion Dive and on November 11, 2007, we released our first single "the rise of Motion Dive." I was so lucky that after a week later, A person contacted me who worked as music director of a game company. He told me that they were looking for some songs and I was able to place 3 of my tunes as their background music. The game "Freeze On Air" was launched after a month later and that's how I got started making money with my music. Then I started doing tracks for short films, making songs for people who need tracks for their demos, and as my credits built, I was able to pitch my songs on TV shows, radio stations and I also started arranging songs for people, mixing, vocal tuning, movies, producing etc.
I'm always looking for people to collaborate with, and people who I can learn from.. Feel free to contact me :)
