Music has been a passion and a constant in Conchita's life from birth and probably before. Both her parents are great music lovers and, like her, have always been singing or whistling around the house.
Conchita started singing in choirs as a child in Lausanne, Switzerland, where she grew up, and has always been fascinated by harmonies. At 20 she moved back to her birth place of Madrid, Spain, where she currently sings in a jazz quartet, a combo, a folk band, several choral groups and a medieval ensemble.
Funnily enough, it is only later in life that she started appreciating jazz, which has quickly become her favourite genre, particularly 20s to 40s jazz, swing and blues.
Languages are her other passion, and she teaches them in her 'day job'.
