I have been playing drums and guitar since I was 12 years old and started my first dj work when I was 14. I toured as a drummer and guitarist in various rock, jazz, bigband, hardcore, and metal bands all through high school and post-high school. I started my own record label when I was 19 and began producing. I have been composing, producing, and recording for over 5 years.

My latest musical projects include Industrial-House fusion electronic music, piano rock, acoustic, and jazz. I am also producing a contemporary pop album and am always looking to produce or mix anything. If you have a project that needs mix help or production to polish it up, don't hesitate to contact me!

In my spare time (the little that I have), I like to remix electronic and rock music. So if you have something that you want a remix for, contact me or invite me to the session and I will try and pump out a kick as remix for you.

Other than all that, I am a really chill guy and love meeting new people, so drop me a line or leave me a comment!

Working With Others

How I Work:

I usually work nights and weekends. As a producer I don't charge an hourly rate usually because I expect a cut for my work as the producer of the project. I have great studio experience and have managed projects big and small. As a musician, I usually don't need much practice time and can lay down the track on the first cut. I charge by the day. I like to help unsigned artists so don't be scared to drop me a line.

My writing style is one of isolation. I do best when I have a couple of hours to my self and my instruments. I tend to start with riffs and turn riffs to loops. When I have arrived at the climatic loop, I start to peel back the layers and piece the arrangement together. I tend to reflect back on to my music theory background (I was originally going to school to be a jazz composer) to get a proper mix of emotions in my work.

Experience:

I have handled recording sessions big and small in large scale million dollar studios to back woods recording rooms in someone's house. I am told I am the master of the microphone and can bring out the best in any room. I have recorded on and produced many hardcore and metal albums. I am new to the electronic scene (less than 3 years) but I think it is my new passion.

Equipment:

I have a full recording setup in my home for pre and post production work. I also own many guitars and synths, as well as a full drumkit.

I use a Mac G5 with Logic 8 and Reason4. I know protools but tend to stay away from it (Logic is much better). I love outboard hardware over software plugins, so I have a nice collection of microphones, compressors, reverbs, and effects.
