I've been playing acoustic guitar for about 12 years and just started getting back into electric guitar (although it feels like a totally different instrument to me). I am also a songwriter and singer, but there hasn't been nearly enough time to work on music since we founded Indaba in 2005... Someday I'll get back to it seriously. I compose, record, produce, and perform with my good friend Peter Yoon (check him out on the site) and have been doing so since we met in high school. We play a mix of acoustic and electronic music and we like to work with people who are musically diverse. Even though he just lives a few miles up town we've been using indaba to bounce ideas off of one another so that when we do get together we make the best use of the time...

Hey Dan, saw an interveiw with the chemical brothers. They said that they record 12 months of any and all media.. Sample it and write a new album. Nothing is new, it is just the way you present it. Start sampling, everything.....lol

You're even sexier on the television than in person. You'd think it's impossible.

I'm off to Argentina on Sunday. I hope to create some sort of musical meat blog via Indaba while I'm there. See you in the summer, cheers.

Well, I pulled every stop, sent out 2000 fan emails and I'm at 88th place. I want you to know, I didn't do this for the 5k but for a job opportunity. So if it is possible to meet with the labels for engineering/mixing job....please let it be known that I would be interested. Thank you for creating such a awesome opportunity.... this has been a lot of fun interacting with more artists and I had a lot of fun doing something really different from my norm.
respectfully, David
