"Perfection comes from Practice... We never stop learning"

There are many genre's of music that I like and try to play including older country, gospel, classic rock, alternative rock and others. Favorite Bands would include Boston, The Eagles, Bad Company, Dokken, Whitelion, Yngwie Malmteen etc... But I guess my favorite (guitar) music would be older metal of the 1980's. I am a big fan of George Lynch, Yngwie Malmsteen, Reb Beach and Vito Bratta.

I let my guitar collect dust for several years while life and work kept me busy and now I am knocking off years of rust having some fun again. I started playing the guitar at age sixteen in 1985, yeah I'm old. lol.. I played in a few garage bands when I was younger, but nothing ever worked out. Now after years of putting it off I'm trying to learn more about recording and playing music in general. I am working on more tunes to record, having some fun with a new studio/recorder. Hopefully I can improve and get some good recordings down.

Recording on a budget - 11.11.09

- Recently I've found some better ways to record my drum tracks. Arranging the drum tracks on my recorder/studio was quite a chore, so I've decided to use some "free" software applications that I've found to make my arrangements. I'm still practicing more and I am excited again to have the ol' creative juices flowing! lol... I hope to be able to purchase some new instruments and equipment in the near future to add to my music. -
