Working With Others

How I Work:

I am open to anything interesting or a good challenge.

Experience:

Back when 4 track cassette multitracking became available I was doing that. My first computer was a Comadore64 (green screen) midi linked to a Korg synth. I spent time under the teachings of R. Fripp and followed that with a few years learning Classical Indian Tabla. Did a few years (in the 90's) creating sound based performance for stage and scoring for choreography. I was an avid improvisor with a focus on free-noise. Currently, I am keeping open ears for the next thing.

Equipment:

I don't talk gear that much. I am known to use anything from rocks and sticks to Final Cut Studio.

Overdue thanks for the kind words, David. 'Nighttime' is the opening of a dance score, so it's certainly nice to hear that you're finding images in it. Really enjoying your stuff as well. Looking forward to having more indaba time soon - perhaps we can find something to cheerfully butt musical heads over.

Hi David!
Your Crystal clear submission is just awesome! It's really the kinda mix that brings me back in peace with that genre of music. Keep on. You have my vote and support!

Hey David,

i am not very much in to industrial, i mean I didn`t really had a chance to hear so nice stuff that would get my attention. But it doesn`t matter I guess , the thing is, that probably the first time time in my life I can feel it has some nice vibes in it, by listening your stuff man. Still it is mysterious to me, but feels real good. Real good.
I really like what you do, i really do.

cheers.

Thanks for all ur comments- I agree I can do a nice five minute song with these, but I had all these Ideas I thought I would show the world that this is what Im about I have ideas always on music and I can express alot of ideas in a short amount of time! As for the reverbs and such your totally right, sorta. Theres so much reverb and such because the sounds I made from these samples are little cuts in a sound so it sounds akward how some of the sounds are a sudden cut off! Hense reverbing and streching trimming! I did do that for a couple of songs (out of the submission) and their really cool, but extremely difficult to get all playing and working together properly, but hopefully if I get to school from this contest. I will have more control u know a container for all these ideas upstairst! Much love thanks for checking me out- Ascension
