Bishop's kings spin judgement's blade

Working With Others

How I Work:

I produce with an engineer. I usually like to listen to a live performance before I get an idea of how something should sound in the studio. When performing live on drums and backup vocals, I lead the band with the drums and try to work out a plan for the setlist based on the crowd and environment I am in.

Experience:

I had been in a band in 1994 called Early Grayce that was playing stuff similar to what is popular now on the radio, but we considered ourselves a punk band. Later, I had formed a band in West Chester with two friends. We called ourselves Dirty Blue. With Dirty Blue I had produced a single that was written by the main songwriter in the group and it had recieved airplay on WXPN Philadelphia. We had performed at World Cafe Live a number of times. I had found out that after I left the band, the members I had formed the band with used the single I produced and won a contest that gave them the opportunity to open for Bon Jovi and Nickelback. I enjoy the creative process and enjoy working with others who like to write material.

Equipment:

Tama 1989 Swingstar 8 piece drumkit, REMO Djembe drum,
Ovation Celebrity acoustic guitar,
Aria pear-shaped mandolin,
5 string banjo and my voice!
