Working With Others
- How I Work:
1st things 1st, if you want a track or a part of a track, or whatever, lemme know, and you can have at it and do whatever, just give props n' cred where props n' cred are due.
How I "work"? I'd say thats a bad word choice. I prefer to look at it as play. Work is boring and monotonous. Office Depot is work.
I like to jam and improvise with other musicians. I also like to trade tracks online and add ideas to it.
I sometimes just improvise my music if using an instrument. Or I'll have a melody in my head, get that down, and work with it. And of course I program beats and such.
- Experience:
Are you experieced?
Back in the day I learned rock/pop guitar and theory from a cat named Pat, who teaches classical guitar at SLU. i guess that was about 9 or 10 years ago. Did that for I guess 3 years maybe. Then I eventually got into playing other instruments - like bass, sitar, mandolin and other instruements. I later got into percussion with hand drums and such. And the drumset. So I guess that helped give me a sense of rythm for programming beats.
- Equipment:
PRS semi-hollow body guitar. Epiphone Les Paul. Fender Twin Reverb amp. Boss multi-fx processor. DigiTech Wammy. Dunlop Cry Baby Wah.
A piece of shit Ibanez bass. I got this Yamaha keyboard that I bought from a crack-head neighbor for like 30 bucks.
A sitar, a mandolin, bongos, a dumbek, a shaker made out of a gourd and some kind of seeds tied around it, a thumb piano I bought in the French Quarter (thats in New Orleans). I have these wooden frogs that sound cool. I sort of use them as wood blocks sometimes. I have a violin - but that cramps up my neck - totally uncomfortable.
In two days I should get a drumset again. My friend doesn't play it anymore. Can't remember the brand name.
And last but not least - my 5 year old Dell desktop pc. Hey, it works fine. It's not even that slow at all. It can run music software, so whats the problem?

Haha. Funny I mentioned the tribal thing, huh? Anyway, when you have a minute, I would love it if you'd listen to Dandy Lion, my Mariah Carey remix. If you're feelin' my jammms, then feel free to vote for it here: http://www.indabamusic.com/submissions/show/2192. Thanks for your time! Paz y Pesos, Gejius
Nice work on those tracks, man! They seem very tribal? feeling. I hate describing songs because I feel like I always mismatch the words in my head with what I'm really trying to say. But yeah, very mood-setting and edgy. Paz y Pesos, Gejius

Hey I like your tracks....Good vibes to you..Josie***
